When the bones in the spine are out of alignment or mal-positioned it affects the integrity of the spine and or joints. Meaning, the spine can be fixated or stuck in certain areas or segments and because of this it can affect the neurologic function in that local area and to wherever that nerve terminates.

Furthermore, when there is an injury such as whiplash or other traumatic conditions from an auto accident, there is almost always soft tissue damage and of the 220 ligaments that hold the spine together it's possible that some of them have increased stress, increased tension or worse.

My philosophy is simple: fix first, strengthen and support second.

It does not make sense to strengthen an area that is not first in its optimal state, best position and functioning neurologically. Over 35 years I have seen better outcomes following this order and principle.
